This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
β’ Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including attending trade shows, researching publications and the internet, engaging with multiple organizations, making cold calls, and more.
β’ Acquire in-depth knowledge of the renewable energy sector, including its structure, opportunities, trends, and challenges.
β’ Foster strong business relationships and effectively communicate the full range of solutions to align with customer objectives and achieve sales targets, volume, and market share.
β’ Maintain open lines of communication with clients to comprehend their needs and concerns, ensuring our solutions align with their goals.
β’ Adhere to activity and results standards, including the number of initial calls, letters of authorization or intent, sales volume, and ultimately, gross margin dollar targets.
β’ Create and deliver professional proposals that address all customer needs and concerns, including financial considerations.
β’ Keep in contact with customers throughout the installation phase to address any additional requirements and concerns that may arise.
β’ Track account plan progress by monitoring market conditions, customer requirements, and competitive activities.
β’ Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
β’ A minimum of five (5+) years of relevant industry experience in selling large solutions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
β’ Proven success in sales negotiation and closing techniques.
β’ Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
β’ Capable of drafting proposals, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
β’ Skilled in effectively presenting information and responding to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
