• Establishes robust personal and collaborative relationships both internally and externally to manage a portfolio, aiming to achieve customer and broker satisfaction, revenue growth, membership, and profit goals.
• Responsible for cultivating and sustaining strong connections with a locally-focused portfolio to guarantee case renewal and retention.
• Identifies concerns or barriers affecting customer retention; highlights key issues and discusses mitigation strategies with leadership.
• Engages in discussions and presentations of solutions, collaborating with internal partners to enhance the customer experience.
• Works alongside account team members and functional support teams on more complex product or service challenges to ensure client requirements are fulfilled.
• Proposes innovative program and service solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients.
• Oversees the financial performance of the assigned portfolio, including negotiations with Plan Sponsors and Producers.
• Analyzes and consultatively presents customer reports featuring meaningful analytics, trends, and insightful recommendations for additional programs and services.
• Must communicate with both internal and external stakeholders via phone and/or in-person interactions.
• Travel to offsite locations for face-to-face meetings with brokers and clients will be necessary.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Multi-functional experience, such as in underwriting, actuary, product development, network management, or other areas that support the health insurance ecosystem.
• Proven experience in making formal presentations.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
