This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Generate new business through focused outreach, networking, and marketing campaigns.
• Propel complex deals forward with intent and accountability, from negotiation through to a successful close.
• Oversee sales cycles from initial contact to contract finalization, including opportunities for expansion within current accounts.
• Clearly convey the company’s business model and value proposition, effectively addressing objections and positioning solutions.
• Leverage strong business and financial insight to communicate ROI and overall value to clients.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Technology teams to promote and sell energy efficiency solutions.
• Establish and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
• Research and prioritize target accounts and market segments to cultivate and maintain a strong pipeline, consistently achieving or surpassing revenue targets and quotas.
• Maintain control over each deal, progressing it steadily and purposefully towards closure.
• 8+ years of experience in business development or sales; experience in technology, solutions, IoT, energy efficiency, equipment, construction services, or other complex sales environments is preferred.
• Proven record of consistently meeting and exceeding annual sales quotas of $5M+, along with a successful history of achieving margin targets.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with the capability to develop and present compelling business cases.
• Experience selling to multi-location businesses is advantageous, particularly in sectors such as Manufacturing, Property Management, Retail, C-Store, Grocery, Food Manufacturing, Education, Hospitality/Hotels, Municipalities, and Restaurants.
• Proven success in consultative, solution-oriented selling.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to deliver persuasive business narratives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HubSpot or comparable CRM platforms.
