This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take ownership of the complete sales cycle for new law enforcement agencies, from initial prospecting to closing deals.
• Implement a territory acquisition strategy that emphasizes outbound prospecting, inbound lead conversion, and field sales activities.
• Establish connections with first-time Axon customers, including police chiefs, command staff, IT departments, procurement teams, and city officials.
• Provide engaging demonstrations of the Axon platform through phone calls, online presentations, and in-person meetings.
• Present Axon’s integrated hardware, software, and services as a groundbreaking solution for new agencies.
• Navigate extended sales cycles that involve competitive displacement and formal procurement procedures.
• Ensure accurate tracking of pipeline, forecasting, and activities within Salesforce.
• Engage in forecast discussions, territory planning, and continuous sales training.
• Represent Axon at industry events, trade shows, and regional conferences.
• Collaborate with internal partners on pricing, contracts, and order fulfillment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in full-cycle sales with a proven record of acquiring new logos.
• Demonstrated skills in outbound prospecting and creating sales pipelines.
• Field sales experience with regular in-person interactions with customers.
• A history of successfully closing complex deals involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in selling SaaS solutions.
• Strong discipline in CRM usage, preferably Salesforce.
• Exceptional communication, discovery, and presentation abilities.
