This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of the entire sales process for new law enforcement agencies, from initial prospecting to closing deals.
• Implement a territory acquisition strategy that emphasizes outbound prospecting, inbound lead conversion, and field-based selling.
• Cultivate relationships with first-time Axon purchasers, including chiefs, command staff, IT personnel, procurement officials, and city stakeholders.
• Provide engaging demonstrations of the Axon platform through phone, web, and in-person presentations.
• Present Axon’s integrated hardware, software, and services as a transformative solution for new agencies.
• Manage extended sales cycles that involve competitive displacement and formal procurement processes.
• Ensure accurate tracking of pipeline, forecasting, and activities in Salesforce.
• Engage in forecast discussions, territory planning, and ongoing sales training.
• Represent Axon at industry conferences, trade shows, and regional events.
• Oversee pricing, contracts, and order fulfillment in collaboration with internal partners.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of full-cycle sales experience with a proven record of acquiring new logos.
• Demonstrated skills in outbound prospecting and pipeline development.
• Experience in field sales with a focus on frequent in-person customer interactions.
• A successful history of closing complex deals involving multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with selling SaaS solutions.
• Strong adherence to CRM practices (Salesforce preferred).
• Exceptional communication, discovery, and presentation abilities.
