This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Develops proposals to fulfill coverage needs for agents and brokers' risks.
• Offers insights and suggestions to Producers, agents, and brokers based on in-depth knowledge of insurance markets and products.
• Collaborates with agents and brokers to assess their requirements and identify suitable coverage options.
• Negotiates terms and coverage details with both the carrier and the agent or broker.
• Organizes policy files in accordance with established formats.
• Reviews policies to ensure accuracy.
• Inputs and maintains data within the AMS360 computer system.
• Establishes and oversees the policy renewal process.
• Processes claims and policy modifications.
• Generates invoices for premiums in the management system for carrier payments and collections.
• Submits all surplus lines filing requests to the relevant parties.
• Cultivates and maintains positive relationships through meetings with brokers.
• Assists the Profit Center in evaluating and qualifying new business submissions as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree along with two to five years of experience in commercial insurance or managing general agency, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• A Property and Casualty Insurance License is preferred (mandatory within 90 days of hire).
• Familiarity with general insurance processing operations.
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance policies, forms, and applications.
• Knowledge of multi-line Property and Casualty coverages and products.
• Awareness of sales and marketing principles.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and complete tasks within specified deadlines.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• High level of motivation to engage effectively within a team.
• Proven capability to work efficiently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to undertake routine or periodic travel, which may necessitate driving a personal or rental vehicle.
• A valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record upon hire and periodically thereafter.
• Must maintain the minimum acceptable insurance coverages and limits as specified by Arrowhead/Brown & Brown.
• Knowledge of AMS360 is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
