• Identify and engage potential customers and key contacts to expand your 3PL and logistics market, formulating territory plans and revenue objectives.
• Conduct cold calls and arrange face-to-face sales meetings weekly, while consistently enhancing your prospecting pipeline.
• Schedule appointments and prepare for sales presentations that effectively showcase value and fulfill customer requirements.
• Research and cultivate new client relationships with shippers, manufacturers, and freight forwarders.
• Establish and maintain robust, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring ongoing communication and satisfaction.
• Regularly communicate with prospective and current clients via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
• Assist with daily tasks such as following up, lead generation, and CRM data entry to monitor progress toward sales objectives.
• Manage and distribute marketing materials to potential customers and collaborate with the corporate marketing team on marketing initiatives.
• Promote Eagle Logistics services across social media and other marketing platforms to enhance brand visibility and attract new business.
• Represent Eagle Logistics' comprehensive range of domestic, international, and LCL freight services, advising clients on optimal solutions for their needs.
• Meet or surpass revenue targets through self-directed territory management and consistent sales achievements.
• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent relevant experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in domestic and/or third-party logistics (3PL) sales, with a proven track record in the Puerto Rico market.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge and experience in logistics operations is preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to comprehend ocean transportation products and customer demands.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to actively listen and provide complete and accurate responses to inquiries.
• Proven history of independently building and expanding a sales territory while delivering measurable revenue outcomes.
