This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement business development strategies that align with our current and future cybersecurity service offerings.
• Responsible for formulating and executing a quarterly business development plan and process, including coordinating all necessary internal and external resources to identify and secure business opportunities.
• Prepare a quarterly review on business prospects and market conditions to ensure revenue and resources align with business objectives.
• Foster collaborative relationships across functions with the project management team, delivery team, and marketing to ensure coordinated efforts and effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Establish a systematic process for deal review, approval, and execution.
• Support the enhancement of market awareness both internally and externally for our Cybersecurity service offerings.
• Contribute to Account Management efforts, including account planning, client procurement, follow-up meetings, pipeline development, opportunity pursuit, contract negotiation, risk management, proposal and Statement of Work (SOW) development, and revenue targets.
• Engage clients in strategic discussions to provide top-tier Cybersecurity / IT Strategy and industry insights to optimize the client’s long-term business objectives.
• Cultivate strong and enduring relationships with client executives, effectively engage in new business opportunities, and position accounts for follow-on security and risk advisory services.
• Develop and maintain contact with key decision-makers at major clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead various aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the formulation of proposal pricing strategies.
• Lead client-facing management sessions on Security Strategy and Planning, as well as formal proposal presentations.
• Maintain customer strategy and direction while collaborating with internal teams, utilizing sales tools such as Salesforce.
• Participate in problem-solving sessions with the project team, consulting team, and client representatives on a regular basis.
• Develop business opportunities with new buyers and business units within existing accounts.
• Manage Marketing Qualified Leads from the lead's origination through qualification to conversion into new opportunities.
• Over 6 years of experience in direct sales or account management within a B2B sales environment, ideally selling professional services to mid-market and enterprise clients.
• Proven track record of achieving quotas, maintaining forecast accuracy, generating pipelines, and prospecting new business.
• Established expertise in cybersecurity, GRC (FedRAMP, SOC, ISO, HIPAA/HITRUST), AI, and/or cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and lead relationship-building activities with C-Level executives, including CISO, CIO, CEO, CFO, COO, CPO, Business Executives, and GRC leaders.
• Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Outstanding closing skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities.
• Critical thinking skills to identify the best solution among multiple "correct" options.
• Ability to resolve complex technical issues and remove barriers diplomatically with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a proactive, hunter mentality within existing accounts.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% on a monthly basis.
• Bachelor’s degree (four-year college or university) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
