This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Foster productive and professional relationships with key personnel within the Met Police, including the Commissioner and his team.
• Cultivate strong connections with NEC team members in sales support and service lines to develop excellent solutions for customer challenges.
• Oversee the commercial and contractual relationship within the account, negotiating terms and leading procurement processes.
• Position NEC as a reliable strategic partner and the primary point of contact for the customer.
• Identify opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and take responsibility for revenue generation within the account.
• Drive proactive sales initiatives to ensure that quota targets for both new and renewal business are fulfilled.
• Take full accountability for the delivery of all revenue streams within the Met Police account.
• Determine customer needs, define program deliverables, and coordinate efforts to ensure adequate resources are allocated.
• Assume complete financial responsibility for the account, collaborating with NEC colleagues to manage all resources and costs related to the account.
• Manage and resolve any issues that arise during service delivery, while identifying related concerns outside the scope of work where NEC can potentially provide assistance.
• Understand customer pain points and seek swift solutions from stakeholders within the NECSWS business.
• Extensive knowledge of the UK policing landscape, particularly the Met Police and other key stakeholders associated with it, such as the Home Office and CPS.
• Proven experience in business development and account management across significant key customer accounts.
• Demonstrable expertise in key stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Evidenced ability to manage and shape sales opportunities from inception to completion, with a history of successful outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen and leadership capabilities, establishing a reputation as a thought leader.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Consistent overachievement of annual sales targets in a quota-bearing role.
• Experience in delivering complex projects related to public safety and/or mission-critical customers.
• Capacity to resolve issues within the account to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ability to collaborate closely as part of a team, while also working independently.
• Strong interpersonal communication and presentation abilities.
• High standard of written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Complete all tasks within designated deadlines and appropriately report any challenges in achieving delivery milestones.
• Capable of discussing Police Systems, Services, and Solutions competently.
