This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Develop and maintain productive, professional relationships with key individuals within the Met Police, including the Commissioner and his team.
β’ Foster collaborative relationships with NEC team members in sales support and service lines to create outstanding solutions for customer challenges.
β’ Oversee the commercial and contractual relationship within the account, facilitating negotiations and leading procurement processes.
β’ Establish NEC as a trusted strategic partner and the primary point of contact for the customer.
β’ Recognize opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and be responsible for achieving revenue targets within the account.
β’ Drive proactive sales initiatives to ensure that quota levels for both new and renewal business are achieved.
β’ Take full responsibility for the delivery of all revenue streams associated with the Met Police account.
β’ Assess customer needs, define program deliverables, and coordinate efforts to guarantee that adequate resources are available.
β’ Assume complete financial responsibility for the account, collaborating with NEC colleagues to manage all resources and costs linked to the account.
β’ Handle and resolve any issues that arise during service delivery, while identifying related challenges outside the scope of work for which NEC could provide assistance.
β’ Understand the customers' pain points and seek prompt solutions from stakeholders within the NECSWS business.
β’ Extensive knowledge of the UK Policing market, particularly regarding the Met Police and other key stakeholders such as the Home Office and CPS.
β’ A proven history in business development and account management within a significant key customer account.
β’ Demonstrated experience in managing key stakeholders, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
β’ Proven track record in managing and shaping sales opportunities from inception to completion, with a history of successful outcomes.
β’ Strong commercial awareness and leadership abilities, with the capacity to establish oneself as a thought leader.
β’ Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
β’ Consistent overachievement of annual sales targets in a quota-carrying position.
β’ Experience in delivering complex programs related to public safety and/or mission-critical clients.
β’ Ability to resolve issues within the account to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
β’ Capability to work closely as part of a team, as well as independently.
β’ Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
β’ High standard of written communication.
β’ Exceptional customer service skills.
β’ Complete all tasks within established deadlines and appropriately report any challenges in meeting delivery milestones.
β’ Proficient in discussing Police Systems, Services, and Solutions competently.
