• Effectively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Stay informed about the competitive landscape, pricing strategies, and market developments.
• Engage in account planning, revenue forecasting, and opportunity management for current Hyperscale clients.
• Utilize sales through partnerships, including indirect channel partners, referrals, and carrier relationships.
• Attend trade shows and networking events focused on the Hyperscale sector.
• This role involves developing and executing account and marketing plans, discovering new business prospects, and fostering relationships with senior management at Hyperscale accounts.
• Record, create, and sustain a customer contact plan along with tracking the progress of contracts and revenue opportunities.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated success in solution-based selling, ideally within the Hyperscale built-to-suit data center, powered shell, and pre-lease data center sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of high-density data center solutions.
• Previous experience in Hyperscale Account Management within the data center industry.
• Proven history of developing business strategies, enabling partners, and establishing measurable metrics to achieve key objectives for Hyperscale and Global clients.
• Successful experience in business development and sales with Hyperscale Providers.
• Proficient in using a CRM system for sales activity tracking and forecasting.
• Technical understanding of:
• - Data Center Infrastructure
• - High-density computing environments
• - Networking
• - Cloud / HyperScaler connectivity
• Must be articulate with proven consultative skills.
• Highly organized.
• Competitive nature.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Effective listener with strong questioning skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Capable of managing high-level activities.
