This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Take ownership and expand a portfolio of current customer accounts, concentrating on growth, upselling, and creating long-term value.
• Prevent churn by demonstrating to clients how the solution effectively addresses their business challenges.
• Establish and sustain multi-threaded relationships with stakeholders in cybersecurity, IT, and procurement.
• Discover and cultivate new opportunities within existing accounts using a consultative, insight-driven sales methodology.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle from start to finish, with typical deal durations of approximately 6 months.
• Collaborate closely with Sales Engineers and internal teams to provide customized solutions and facilitate deal progression.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of customer objectives and align solutions with their changing business requirements.
• Implement account strategies that promote retention, growth, and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated success in account management, account development, or sales roles focused on expansion.
• Proficient in navigating and influencing various stakeholders within intricate organizations.
• Strong consultative sales abilities with an emphasis on building relationships and uncovering value.
• Experience managing mid-length sales cycles (4–8 months) and overseeing deals from inception to completion.
• Comfortable working within a defined territory of existing accounts, with a strategic approach to growth.
• Background in cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology is advantageous.
