This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Acquire new clients and foster revenue growth by pursuing new business opportunities.
• Design and execute strategies for account acquisition.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
• Offer comprehensive product and application solutions.
• Set clear objectives for each sales call or meeting.
• Customize standard materials for presentation to customer decision-makers and influencers.
• Collect information, assess customer interest, and provide additional explanations as needed.
• Configure product and service solutions along with contractual terms to align with prospect needs.
• Present solutions and negotiate agreements within established commercial boundaries.
• Collaborate internally and advocate for prospects within cross-functional teams.
• Build a personal network and represent the organization at industry events.
• Gather market intelligence to enhance organizational visibility, product awareness, and service offerings.
• Stay informed about policies, procedures, regulations, and codes of conduct.
• Engage in assessment, development planning, training, and coaching initiatives.
• Keep abreast of technology, regulations, and industry best practices through continuous education.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• The employer will not sponsor employment visas for this position.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time to meet with customers.
• A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or operations management is preferred.
• Typically requires over 5 years of experience with IoT, IIoT, software, and annual recurring revenue/subscription models.
• Understanding of Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things technology.
• Proven experience selling to senior management and executive levels, focusing on outcomes and demonstrating measurable economic value.
• Experience collaborating with all levels of a manufacturing enterprise, including CxO, operations, technical, plant, and OEM machine-builder leadership.
• Background in selling and working with datacenter clients.
