This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promote a product to achieve or surpass sales targets in community/private practices as well as hospitals and health systems.
• Identify and address customer needs (training, clinical, operational, reimbursement) using appropriate AbbVie resources.
• Deliver expert anatomical and procedural information and training, employing precise anatomical terminology to instruct on injection paradigms and postures while emphasizing various anatomical and injection insights and considerations.
• Provide educational and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and other key personnel within hospitals.
• Collaborate with other Account Specialists to advocate for the product for approved indications and facilitate individual, department, or group trainings for residents and fellows within hospital and health system accounts.
• Adhere to all company policies, required reporting, requests, and promotional compliance while effectively managing AbbVie field assets.
• Skillfully utilize AbbVie's sales and data resources to boost productivity and growth of AbbVie products while executing the U.S. Marketing Plan.
• A Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• Relevant and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree requires at least five (5) years of technical experience, with three (3) or more years in sales preferred, along with a high school diploma or GED.
• A documented history of strong sales performance, particularly in a clinical, technical, or consultative sales role involving multiple decision-makers, is preferred.
• Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products is preferred, in both health systems and private practice settings.
• A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.
• Capability to manage complex sales, quickly learn procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information, and effectively communicate, present, and train varied audiences.
• Ability to lift or pull training models weighing between 25-100 lbs. and meet the necessary hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to drive a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material handling equipment.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to adhere to safe driving standards are necessary.
• Willingness to travel adequately to cover the assigned territory and attend scheduled training events and sales meetings overnight.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain required credentials.
