Account Commercial Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Establish the strategic commercial direction for the prestigious Mercedes account

• Leverage the complete 3M portfolio to meet customer requirements, resolve issues, and generate value

• Oversee the overall commercial relationship with the account

• Develop and implement a cross-functional account strategy

• Propel sales performance, execution of plans, and year-over-year growth

• Grasp and convey the customer’s strategic vision

• Cultivate robust customer relationships as a partner in commercial innovation

• Construct and manage pipelines for spec-in and NPI opportunities linked to the account roadmap

• Lead the cross-functional key account team and prepare 3M teams for successful customer engagement

• Develop relationships at the executive level and ensure follow-up after executive visits

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related field

• Significant experience in segment management, including sales and marketing

• Proven success in building and sustaining relationships with Key Accounts

• Experience in formulating and executing segment and Key Account strategies

• Ability to lead, execute, and deliver as part of a broader Vertical leadership team

• Competence in managing the full spectrum of Key Account activities from executive to operational levels

• Experience in leading successful sales teams

• Proficiency in English and German

• A Master’s degree in business administration is a desirable qualification

• Experience in project management and coordinating cross-functional teams

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex commercial and technical concepts

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
