This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Facilitate the integration of Wero among merchants in the Netherlands
• Shape the development of new acceptance categories
• Serve as the main contact for merchants during onboarding and activation processes
• Ensure that merchants adhere to the necessary onboarding procedures
• Act as the operational link between merchants, acquirers, and EPI teams
• Assist merchants with the Wero implementation process
• Engage in significant industry events, associations, and forums to boost awareness and adoption
• Keep an eye on market trends and competitive offerings
• Convert merchant feedback into actionable insights for internal teams
• Maintain an up-to-date pipeline and track activities
• Over 6 years of experience in payments, business development, or related fields
• In-depth knowledge of the Dutch payment landscape
• Experience in payment business development or payment strategy
• Background in project and/or product management
• Demonstrated ability to guide merchants or partners through onboarding and activation
• Exceptional relationship-building capabilities with stakeholders across merchants, partners, and internal teams
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English is mandatory (written and spoken)
• Comfortable working in a remote-first, multicultural, and rapidly changing environment

• Strong sense of ownership, organization, and prioritization
• Experience working with acquirers, large merchants, or public acceptance entities (nice-to-have)
• Familiarity with Dutch public acceptance sectors (transport, utilities, mobility, public services) (nice-to-have)
• Exposure to product lifecycle phases or merchant integration projects (nice-to-have)
• Experience collaborating with industry organizations, merchant associations, or institutional groups (nice-to-have)
• Experience in public speaking (moderating panels, hosting sessions, presenting to senior audiences) (nice-to-have)
• Proficiency in French is an advantage (nice-to-have)
• Remote-first culture
• In-person meetings at least once a quarter
