This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic guidance and operational management for the Professional Studies portfolio.
• Ensure that programs are aligned with workforce needs, accreditation criteria, and institutional objectives.
• Drive program assessment, ongoing enhancement, and innovation in online teaching methodologies.
• Identify potential for new program creation and growth.
• Oversee the design, updates, and instructional quality of the curriculum across all programs.
• Guarantee academic rigor, relevance, and alignment with industry benchmarks.
• Collaborate with instructional design teams to improve learner experiences and outcomes.
• Lead, mentor, and nurture faculty and academic personnel.
• Set performance expectations and conduct evaluations.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and learner-centered education.
• Monitor key performance indicators, including retention, completion, satisfaction, and employment outcomes.
• Implement strategies to enhance learner engagement and success.
• Partner with support teams, operations, and other departments to optimize the learner journey.
• Collaborate closely with product, marketing, operations, and workforce partners.
• Contribute to institutional initiatives and strategic planning efforts.
• Ensure that programs comply with accreditation, regulatory, and compliance standards.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and accreditation evaluations.
• Maintain documentation and processes that align with quality assurance standards.
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field is required; a PhD or EdD is preferred.
• Over 5 years of leadership experience in online or distance education.
• Demonstrated experience in managing academic programs and faculty teams.
• Experience with career-focused or workforce-aligned educational programs is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of online pedagogy and best instructional practices.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to execute operationally.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with various technologies, learning platforms, and academic systems is preferred, including Brightspace, Dynamic 365, and Tableau.
