This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic guidance and operational leadership for the Professional Studies portfolio.
• Ensure that programs align with workforce needs, accreditation standards, and institutional objectives.
• Drive program assessment, ongoing enhancement, and innovation in online teaching methods.
• Identify potential opportunities for new program creation and growth.
• Oversee the design, updates, and instructional quality of all curricula.
• Ensure academic rigor, relevance, and consistency with industry standards.
• Collaborate with instructional design teams to improve learner experiences and outcomes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop faculty and academic personnel.
• Set performance expectations and conduct evaluations.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and student-centered instruction.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as retention, completion, satisfaction, and employment outcomes.
• Implement strategies to enhance learner engagement and success.
• Partner with support teams, operations, and other departments to enhance the learner journey.
• Work closely with product, marketing, operations, and workforce partners.
• Contribute to institutional initiatives and strategic planning efforts.
• Ensure programs comply with accreditation, regulatory, and compliance standards.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and accreditation evaluations.
• Maintain documentation and processes that adhere to quality assurance standards.
• A master’s degree in a relevant field is required; PhD or EdD is preferred.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in online or distance education.
• Demonstrated experience in managing academic programs and faculty teams.
• Experience with career-oriented or workforce-aligned educational programs is preferred.
• Strong comprehension of online pedagogy and instructional best practices.
• Strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute operationally.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Data-driven decision-making abilities and analytical skills.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with various technologies, learning platforms, and academic systems is preferred, including Brightspace, Dynamic 365, and Tableau.
