This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee a caseload of students through educational advisement and guidance on university policies and procedures.
β’ Offer coaching and advisory support to enhance student retention and facilitate graduation.
β’ Frequently communicate with students via phone and email to encourage retention and promote student success.
β’ Establish rapport and foster positive working relationships with both students and staff.
β’ Identify student challenges in time management, technical abilities, and classroom performance, utilizing available resources to enhance success.
β’ Track student attendance and grades in the database to ensure retention and academic progression.
β’ Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly communication/contact strategies for course completion and persistence.
β’ Sustain active and personalized engagement with students while evaluating their likelihood of success and necessary service levels.
β’ Collaborate with enrollment services, student accounts, student finance, academics, registrar, management, and colleagues.
β’ Share suggestions for policy and procedure enhancements with leadership.
β’ Clarify and explain UAGC policies and procedures to students.
β’ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Federal, State, and Institutional Policies regulating Title IV student aid programs.
β’ A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of related experience, or a suitable combination of education and work experience.
β’ Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
β’ Capability to research, collect data, compile information, and prepare reports.
β’ Skill in investigating, analyzing information, and drawing conclusions.
β’ Ability to engage in critical thinking and apply independent judgment.
β’ Capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
β’ Understanding of customer service principles and conflict resolution techniques.
β’ Familiarity with Emotional Intelligence principles and their practical application.
β’ Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
β’ Proficient in communicating via phone, email, Zoom, and Teams.
