4th Grade Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Provide exceptional online instruction by integrating asynchronous coursework with live virtual teaching.

• Actively engage Grade 5 students in a well-structured, interactive, and nurturing virtual classroom setting.

• Track student progress and deliver timely, personalized, and constructive feedback on their assignments.

• Proactively identify learning gaps and implement targeted strategies to facilitate student mastery.

• Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and school staff through email, phone, and video conferencing.

• Conduct virtual office hours, one-on-one student meetings, and parent conferences.

• Collaborate with curriculum and academic teams on course development and best instructional practices.

• Participate in school-wide meetings, professional development sessions, and community events.

• Plan and engage in live virtual events, clubs, and activities that promote student involvement.

• Keep accurate records of student performance and engagement metrics.

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• An active teaching certification in elementary education or a related area.

• Experience in teaching elementary students, ideally in Grade 5 or upper elementary grades.

• Strongly preferred experience in online teaching, virtual instruction, or the use of educational technology.

• A solid understanding of learning strategies that effectively support elementary-aged students in a virtual setting.

• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with students and their families.

• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Capability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating with a distributed team.
