3D Environment Artist / Senior Environment Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Analyze and interpret client briefs and specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of work requirements.

• Assist in estimating efforts for new projects.

• Contribute to pre-production activities by gathering relevant references, developing checklists, and formulating inquiries for clients.

• Establish clarity in the asset creation workflow for projects by producing sample assets.

• Generate high-quality, error-free 3D assets according to client specifications.

• Deliver files in accordance with client specifications and best practices concerning file naming, folder structure, etc.

• Undertake the development of benchmark assets for projects.

• Provide direction and guidance to team artists, and if necessary, perform initial checks on their work to ensure compliance with artistic and technical standards.

• Assist with project troubleshooting.

• Actively engage in team meetings, offering ideas and suggestions to enhance project success, while identifying risks and raising concerns as needed.

• Communicate the status of personal work and that of any artists under supervision clearly and regularly to the Lead and the PM.

• Ensure that personal work and that of supervised artists is completed within the allocated budgeted effort.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional skills in creating 3D environments.

• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software such as Maya, Max, Photoshop, and zBrush.

• Practical experience with software like Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Blender.

• In-depth knowledge of the Game Art pipeline, real-time shaders, and engines such as Unreal and Unity.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Self-motivated individual.

• Collaborative team player.

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in creating 3D art assets for AAA titles.
