• Oversee the creation of 3D character art and collaborate with a diverse team responsible for character development, encompassing narrative and design.

• Guide and motivate a skilled team of artists throughout all stages of production.

• Cultivate an environment that supports growth, constructive feedback, and coaching to promote robust creative discussions.

• Establish effective processes and scalable art workflows that enhance the team's productivity and set a high standard for art quality, both internally and with partner studios.

• Encourage and energize the team by providing expert guidance on craft and processes.

• Create and manage internal and external style guides and workflows, overseeing teams in the development of game assets.

• Ensure accountability to the art director's visual objectives and directives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound comprehension of the character art elements that resonate with competitive players in action or fighting games.

• Demonstrated experience in leadership roles during early AAA game development.

• Proven track record in leading art teams that encompass 3D character art, character customization, and NPCs.

• Strong skills and a deep understanding of stylized art and adaptability to various styles.

• Expert proficiency in Maya, Blender, or Max, as well as Substance.

• Advanced knowledge of Unreal Engine.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

• Strategic and critical thinking abilities coupled with a proactive and investigative approach.

• Experience in creating or establishing character customization in Unreal and scaling content with outsourcing partners.
