3D Animator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Under the guidance of the Supervisor and/or Leads, adheres to the defined performance style for the project.

• As needed, collaborates to develop and define distinctive characteristics for characters and/or objects intended for animation.

• Completes tasks in accordance with project timelines and established quotas.

• Works to implement balance, composition, and timing requirements that enhance story and character performance.

• Creatively elevates material to meet established performance standards and complexity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven understanding of animation principles.

• Familiarity with anatomy, perspective, and composition.

• Experience in classical animation is preferred.

• Proficiency in Maya is mandatory.

• Strong aesthetic abilities, including staging and timing.

• Capable of communicating and/or illustrating ideas clearly and succinctly.

• Practices attentive and active listening.

• Integrates feedback and guidance received from the Director/Supervisor.
