2D Animator, Casino Games Studio

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the studio head and game designers to animate characters, environments, icons, UIs, and other game elements using both PNG sequences and Spine.

• Design and create winning presentations, game transitions, animations, and more for casino games.

• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure art assets are delivered in the appropriate formats for implementation.

• Ensure proper compression and optimization of assets for various supported devices.

• Stay informed on thematic trends and key competitors in the gaming industry, proactively suggesting themes and enhancements for upcoming games based on ongoing research.

• Assist game designers in quickly visualizing their game concepts.

• Keep current with industry-standard tools and techniques for producing game art and animations.

• Effectively communicate ideas and concepts throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Present a portfolio showcasing personal work, including character animations in various styles.

• Be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess a strong eye for detail.

• Provide accurate project estimates and adhere to deadlines.

• Possess proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Maya, and Spine.

• Have intermediate to advanced skills in 3D modeling and texturing.

• Experience in creating storyboards, art guidelines, mood boards, and concept art with a quick turnaround.

• Strong understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and composition.

• Be adaptable to new animation styles, in-game animation production tools, and workflows.

• Demonstrate expertise in layering and delivering assets in preferred formats.

• Excellent eye for color theory, composition, and rendering.
