This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Deliver system administration, design, and optimization services in accordance with Managed Service contract engagement standards and SLAs.
β’ Educate, guide, and empower clients following the Idealist Way.
β’ Manage response times and approvals across various assignments.
β’ Organize activities from requirements gathering to solution design using established project management tools and delivery methodologies to maintain effective communication and project quality.
β’ Raise any client or consultant capacity issues to Client Success for resolution support.
β’ Create and implement Salesforce solutions that cater to client needs while identifying opportunities for business process and system alignment and optimization.
β’ Conduct client needs assessments through user story collection, grooming, and prioritization.
β’ Prefer declarative configuration with custom fields, objects, layouts, views, reports, dashboards, and automation.
β’ Assist in validation and user acceptance testing.
β’ Ensure data integrity, hygiene, and security.
β’ Provide documentation to enhance client understanding and ownership of their system.
β’ Assist in the selection and implementation of third-party solutions and applications as required.
β’ Convert client business requirements into well-designed solutions that optimally utilize the platforms, products, and applications.
β’ Lead data mapping initiatives during the solution design and implementation phases, ensuring data integrity and usability across systems.
β’ Offer mentorship to Junior Consultants and new hires on projects.
β’ Support Sales and Services Teams in preparing implementation estimates, providing detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions, and alerting Client Success to new opportunities as they arise.
β’ Stay informed about Salesforce best practices, ecosystem trends, and product updates.
β’ Advise and train clients on product enhancements, new functionalities, and adoption opportunities.
β’ 1β6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Salesforce Consultant, with practical experience in Salesforce implementations (Experience Cloud and/or Agentforce Nonprofit/NPC preferred).
β’ Current knowledge of Salesforce for nonprofits, including recent releases and roadmap.
β’ Proficient in solving automation requirements using Flow.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
β’ Ability to juggle multiple project assignments simultaneously.
β’ Creative and analytical thinker with a passion for addressing customer challenges through software solutions.
β’ Understanding of the nonprofit business processes and their complexities.
β’ Salesforce certifications such as: Experience Cloud, Agentforce Nonprofit, and/or Agentforce Specialist (Extra Credit).
β’ Previous experience as a Salesforce for Nonprofit consultant (Extra Credit).
β’ Experience managing projects or participating in projects with technical and cross-functional elements (Extra Credit).
