10-11th Grade Advisory Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Instructors will become part of SEO’s community of dedicated educators, tasked with delivering a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum to motivated and ambitious high school Scholars.

• Utilizing our unique curriculum and a student-focused approach, instructors play a vital role in guiding our Scholars on their path to competitive colleges and beyond.

• Additionally, instructors enhance understanding and skill development by acting as coaches and facilitators of learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant content area.

• Teaching certification, classroom experience from K-12, and/or experience in teaching at the college or university level.

• Experience working with high school-aged learners.

• Comfortable navigating technological learning platforms.

• Proficient knowledge and expertise in advanced high school-level English and Humanities subjects.

• A willingness to engage in discussions that analyze the historical and ongoing causes of societal issues and challenges.

• Access to a reliable personal laptop; seasonal instructors must have a device that meets the basic technological requirements to perform all instructional and administrative tasks.
