Zoom Boom Operator – Turnaround

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Safely operate Zoom Boom (Telehandler) machinery in line with manufacturer specifications, company protocols, and site regulations.

• Transport, load, unload, and position materials, tools, and equipment securely across the project site.

• Conduct pre-use inspections and complete daily equipment inspection reports.

• Quickly identify and report any equipment defects or maintenance needs.

• Collaborate closely with supervisors, trades, and other personnel on site to facilitate daily operations.

• Stay aware of site hazards and ensure safe operation around personnel and equipment.

• Adhere to lift plans and assist with material handling as per project specifications.

• Uphold excellent housekeeping practices, ensuring work areas remain tidy and organized.

• Exhibit strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities while prioritizing safety and quality.

• Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with Canoco safety standards and client-specific requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience operating Zoom Boom (Telehandler) equipment in an industrial or construction setting.

• Experience in the Oil & Gas sector is regarded as a significant advantage.

• Valid Telehandler/Zoom Boom Operator certification.

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

• Required certifications include H2S Alive, CSTS or CSO, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space, and Fall Protection.

• Willingness to commit to a 12 & 2 rotation, working up to 12-hour days for the entire duration of the turnaround.
