📋 Description

• Take ownership and drive the business performance of the liver portfolio within the Zone, applying a strategic, big-picture approach.

• Propel change and foster innovation.

• Create and implement zone-specific business plans that align with the national strategy.

• Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and performance metrics to guide actions.

• Lead, mentor, and develop first-line leaders to enhance team effectiveness.

• Establish a robust leadership pipeline and succession planning.

• Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

• Guarantee consistent and high-quality execution of brand strategies in the field.

• Track KPIs and enforce disciplined performance management.

• Identify and implement best practices across different regions.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Patient Services, and Operations.

• Ensure strategic alignment and coordinated execution.

• Provide field insights to inform brand planning and lifecycle strategies.

• Maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and major accounts.

• Comprehend regional nuances in referral patterns and treatment pathways.

• Assist teams in navigating complex access and reimbursement landscapes.

• Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory, legal, and company policies.

• Exemplify integrity and prioritize patient-first decision-making.

• Reinforce a culture of compliance throughout the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA).

• Over 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech sector, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.

• Experience leading other leaders (second-line leadership) is highly desirable.

• Significant experience in rare diseases and/or specialty areas.

• Experience in rare liver diseases is an advantage.

• Proven track record of successful product launches, particularly with first-in-class therapies in competitive markets.

• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, train, and nurture high-performing teams.

• Proven success in sales leadership roles, with the capacity to inspire, influence, and align teams.

• Familiarity with navigating complex rare disease patient journeys, including diagnosis, referral pathways, and challenging access to therapies.

• Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate, influence, and unify teams.

• In-depth understanding of market access, payer dynamics, and patient services.

• Proven ability to lead within a matrixed organization.

• High integrity, ethical standards, and commitment to compliance.

• Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.

• Willingness to travel frequently, with up to 70% overnight travel required, and possession of a valid driver’s license.
