This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take responsibility for achieving or surpassing the designated operational plan.
• Direct, develop, and implement the commercial strategy for selling stability solutions for data centers in the North American market, including BESS (storage solutions), EMS, and Medium Voltage UPS.
• Manage the precise forecasting of orders and convertible orders for your account package, documenting that in Salesforce.com.
• Foster daily relationships and provide transactional support.
• Collaborate with selected GE Vernova sales personnel across the region to execute joint account strategies and secure synergy orders.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy with integrated initiatives for GE throughout the region.
• Cultivate strategic customer relationships with key decision-makers to support the sales team’s strategic direction, including power developers, Data Center Developers, Independent Power Producers, and co-locators.
• Drive the identification, prospecting, and creation of new sales opportunities.
• Assist your customers in sales activities and aid them in identifying new opportunities.
• Coordinate activities and provide leadership to establish tailored sales strategies, obtaining necessary approvals for pricing and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts as needed.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitive actions, product demands, and customer bases.
• Collaborate with Marketing to devise project-specific sales strategies for assigned clients.
• Offer feedback to the leadership team to facilitate ongoing growth.
• Manage expenses within a specified budget.
• Oversee accounts in the region; responsible for nurturing relationships at all organizational levels, developing and monitoring growth plans, marketing initiatives, and training.
• Manage, maintain, and expand accounts in the region to meet quarterly and annual targets.
• Ensure follow-up on GE-provided leads and convert them into orders.
• Uphold global compliance standards; partner with the compliance manager to conduct due diligence activities.
• Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and hit-rate information to business and sales leadership.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field from an accredited university or college.
• At least 10 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering, or Technical Engineering.
• Experience in Data Center Markets and Portfolios.
• Capability and willingness to hold and maintain a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel across North America 50% of the time.
• Proven sales success in Battery Storage, Data Centre Power Management, or hybrids.
• Familiarity with Gas Turbines, Battery Storage, Grid Connection, Islanded Grids, and hybrid industry customers and their overall system operations processes.
• Demonstrated sales leadership experience with high-value, high-priced system sales to senior executives.
• Comprehensive knowledge of battery storage applications for product lines and markets.
• Experience in building relationships at all levels within an organization.
• Existing executive-level contacts at one or more accounts in the region.
• Comfortable and experienced with cold calling new targeted customers.
