Interconnection Manager – Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the utility-scale solar and energy storage interconnection pipeline throughout the United States.

• Collaborate with Generation Interconnection specialists as part of the Project Development Team.

• Engage daily with the project development team, which consists of subject matter experts.

• Ensure adherence to pertinent tariffs and advocate for the company's interests at various Utilities/ISOs/RTOs.

• Supervise and manage the entire interconnection process from filing through to post-GIA phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering is required, ideally with a focus on power systems.

• 5-7 years of experience in renewable power system analysis or similar fields.

• Experience in Generation Interconnection model development within a utility or RTO is highly preferred.

• Proven expertise in FERC/ISO RTO working groups, contract negotiations, or other relevant business experience is also appreciated.

• Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, creative problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Must be organized, self-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in team environments.
