This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop regional beat plans, set targets and inputs, monitor performance, and drive secondary sales.
• Oversee the induction and onboarding process for Territory Business Managers.
• Contribute strategic insights to territory target planning and long-term vision.
• Follow established processes and SOPs for appointing stockists.
• Manage Abbott product sales within designated territories and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Maintain the regional sales operating budget effectively.
• Direct sales initiatives to achieve both short- and long-term sales volumes and forecasts.
• Implement marketing strategies and campaigns, including CMEs and camps.
• Execute promotional and below-the-line (BTL) activities within the assigned territory.
• Plan and project area demand accurately.
• Collaborate with CFAs and stockists to sustain optimal inventory levels and meet demand.
• Ensure efficiency in regional supply chain, product availability, and reduction of expiry products.
• Train, develop, supervise, evaluate, motivate, and support Territory Business Managers.
• Cultivate relationships with opinion leaders and stockists and assess key customers.
• Ensure that assigned personnel possess the necessary training and qualifications.
• Ensure distribution of Abbott products in assigned towns according to company strategies.
• Plan trade promotion activities and guarantee TBM compliance with sales-force parameters.
• Lead compliance with Abbott’s Code of Business Conduct, FCPA, Pharmacovigilance, financial and administrative systems, and statutory and regulatory standards.
• Advocate for Abbott Values and professional conduct.
• Manage customer situations, service levels, audit compliance, transaction accuracy, customer/resource attrition, and execution of business strategies.
• Participate in strategy meetings, briefing sessions, doctors’ meets, workshops, training programs, and other company events.
• Minimum qualification: Graduation.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the vaccine industry.
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience in managing brand launches and subsequent phases.
• In-depth knowledge of the assigned territory is advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to relocate as required by Abbott.
• Strong planning and operational capabilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in the local language of the assigned area/territory.
• Fluency in English is preferred.
• Good computer literacy.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email correspondence.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Supervisory skills.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Capability to independently generate sales when necessary.
• High level of initiative.
• Ability to adhere to Abbott's Code of Business Conduct, FCPA, Pharmacovigilance, statutory, regulatory, and company standards.
• Capacity to stand continuously for extended durations (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour workday).
• An MBA/PG Diploma in Sales & Marketing/Business Management would be advantageous.
• Travel required: 100% of the time.
