This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Design and implement a Zero Trust security architecture to improve our software products.

• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures rooted in Zero Trust principles.

• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and security teams to incorporate Zero Trust controls across all systems and applications.

• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to pinpoint and address security risks.

• Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and least privilege access.

• Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and respond to security incidents.

• Create and maintain documentation for Zero Trust architecture policies and procedures.

• Convert business requirements into technical designs and code implementations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

• Participate in security audits and compliance initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Zero Trust security.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.

• Proven experience in roles such as Security Engineer, Network Security Engineer, cybersecurity, or a similar position.

• Strong grasp of Zero Trust principles and frameworks, including NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, and CISA’s EINSTEIN framework.

• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions.

• Proficiency in network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), as well as security automation and orchestration tools.

• Experience in designing Zero Trust solutions in accordance with industry standards, including NIST 800-207, CISA Maturity Model, or DoD Zero Trust Strategy.

• Knowledge of network principles, such as ZTA, SASE, SD-WAN.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly adjust to changing priorities and project requirements.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
