Forward Deployed Partner Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with System Integrators (SIs) or leading Frontier AI Model Providers to craft tailored AI roadmaps that assess the business value of Workday AI, transitioning from mere buzzwords to tangible results.

• Oversee 4-week and 8-week "Pilot to Production" initiatives in pre-production or sandbox environments for our partners’ clientele, bridging the divide between AI roadmap aspirations and technical feasibility.

• Facilitate Workday’s transition to agentic-based consumption models. You will evaluate technical usage trends and assist customers in predicting their long-term AI and platform requirements.

• Navigate intricate global security, compliance, and data privacy standards. You will serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring Workday AI integrates flawlessly into a customer’s wider IT framework.

• Function as a vital feedback loop for Product & Technology teams, relaying real-world challenges faced by SIs and customers back into the development roadmap to guarantee our AI remains "built for business."

• Develop and propose seamless data flow and integration strategies (including MCP and A2A) within complex, multi-cloud enterprise environments.

• Accountable for showcasing impact and measurable value within your specific industry or domain expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in technology solution design, enterprise software implementations, or digital transformation.

• More than 7 years of experience presenting to technical, business, and executive audiences both in-person and virtually.

• At least 5 years of experience with Workday.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience working directly with or alongside Global System Integrators (GSIs) or leading Frontier AI Labs / Model Providers.

• Over 5 years of in-depth expertise in human resources, financials, or IT domains.

• More than 5 years of experience in technology solution design, enterprise software implementations, or digital transformation.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience presenting to technical, business, and executive audiences both in-person and virtually.

• At least 2 years of experience working directly with or alongside Global System Integrators (GSIs) or leading Frontier AI Labs / Model Providers.

• Driven by a passion for cutting-edge AI innovation—from Agentic workflows and MCP to A2A orchestration, RAG, and foundational LLMs.

• Comfortable with uncertainty and excel at "building the plane while flying it."

• Expert-level proficiency in creating architectural diagrams, technology roadmaps, and data-supported business cases.

• Strong comprehension of SIs' go-to-market dynamics and how to transform customized proof-of-concepts into scalable, repeatable partner practice frameworks.

• Willingness to travel up to 40% to engage with SIs and customers on-site.
