This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to grasp the objectives, branding, and vision for each video project.

• Edit raw video footage into captivating, high-quality content ready for publication.

• Design custom graphics and animation elements as necessary to align with client branding.

• Source and integrate appropriate music or sound effects into videos.

• Apply SEO strategies to enhance video content for YouTube's search algorithm.

• Provide final video files in the correct format for various platforms.

• Effectively manage, back up, and organize all video files.

• Keep informed about YouTube's policies, emerging trends, and best practices.

• Continuously seek ways to enhance and streamline the editing process to meet client requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A passion for YouTube and video content.

• 1-2 years of professional video editing experience, preferably within the YouTube ecosystem.

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects or Davinci Resolve (whichever you are most comfortable with).

• Exceptional storytelling abilities with a solid understanding of pacing and narrative structure.

• Familiarity with SEO strategies for YouTube and an understanding of its policies.

• Outstanding attention to detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

• Capability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.

• Proven ability to adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent style.

• A portfolio or reel demonstrating your editing skills is required.

• Fluency in English is essential (additional languages are a plus).
