This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to establish and continually enhance audience and inventory segments, translating those groups into effective targeting and pricing strategies.
• Manage a weekly price-floor governance process: assess geo-tiered Unified Pricing Rules based on performance, suggest and implement modifications, and monitor the impact of each change on fill and eCPM.
• Work closely with broader company monetization initiatives, aligning ad strategies, ad load, and segment treatment with LTV, conversion, and user experience objectives, and make adjustments promptly if cannibalization risks are detected.
• Track daily and weekly revenue, investigate anomalies and discrepancies, and conduct structured A/B tests to validate changes in floor and segments.
• Create and maintain dashboards that connect segment performance, floor adjustments, and demand-source activity to revenue, collaborating with the Data team on instrumentation and attribution.
• Assist with demand integrations (AdX / Open Bidding, Amazon TAM) in partnership with the monetization owner and Engineering, providing analytical insights.
• Help convert findings into clear recommendations and briefings for Monetization, Data, and leadership stakeholders.
• 4+ years of experience in yield management, ad operations, revenue/monetization analytics, or publisher monetization, with a strong analytical foundation.
• Proven experience in audience/inventory segmentation and cohort analysis, with a comfort level in collaborating closely with a data team; proficiency in SQL and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) is a significant advantage.
• Proficient in Google Ad Manager, particularly with Unified Pricing Rules and floor management, along with a solid understanding of the programmatic ecosystem (AdX / Open Bidding, header bidding, SSP / DSP / RTB).
• Knowledge of hybrid monetization — understanding how ad-supported and subscription/paid models interact, and how to balance ad revenue against LTV and retention.
• A methodical, cadence-driven operator capable of conducting reliable weekly reviews and maintaining a clear audit trail of decisions.
• Excellent communication skills — able to convey segment and floor analysis clearly to both technical and business stakeholders, and coordinate across different functions.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, comfortable taking ownership of a defined scope and delivering within a set timeframe.
