This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create and oversee the development of threat intelligence content, which includes advisories, threat briefs, comprehensive research reports, blogs, executive summaries, and social media content.
• Convert technical discoveries such as IOCs, TTPs, vulnerabilities, and emerging attack trends into engaging narratives suitable for both practitioner and board-level audiences.
• Monitor the threat landscape and propose timely articles related to ongoing campaigns, disclosures, and geopolitical events.
• Design and implement webinar programs, suggest topics and talking points, and assist in post-production efforts.
• Write bylines, blogs, and supplementary content that support campaigns and marketing initiatives.
• Aid in the distribution and coordination of content across various channels in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
• Manage a publication calendar and guide pieces through the review and fact-checking process.
• Uphold style standards to ensure a credible and consistent brand voice.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing and producing content within cybersecurity, threat intelligence, another technical field, or in cybersecurity journalism/PR/communications.
• A portfolio that showcases technical depth and clarity aimed at both executive and practitioner audiences.
• Excellent editing abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Capability to juggle multiple projects while ensuring consistent quality.
• Familiarity with the threat landscape, or strong PR/communications skills with the ability to quickly grasp technical topics.
• Skill in collaborating with technical subject-matter experts, conducting interviews, posing follow-up questions, and self-editing with minimal supervision.
• Knowledgeable in PR and communications, including audience understanding, topic angle, and distribution strategies.
• Experience in producing or managing webinar programs is preferred.
• Proficiency in querying datasets using SQL, Python, or Splunk is preferred.
• Awareness of security ratings, attack surface management, and third-party/supply-chain risk is preferred.
