This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research, outline, and compose a comprehensive manuscript ranging from 45,000 to 75,000 words.
• Create an in-depth, Christ-centered Bible study focused on marriage.
• Integrate substantial biblical exposition with practical, hopeful, and transformative applications for couples.
• Work closely with the editorial team during various revision stages.
• Ensure theological consistency with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal beliefs.
• Compile all proposal materials into a single PDF document.
• Include a suggested title and subtitle, a controlling idea, resource summary, theological and interpretive concerns, target audience, comparable titles, author biography, a complete study outline, three complete sample study days, front and back matter, and timeline/specifications.
• Demonstrated mid-level experience.
• Contract-based, per-project engagement.
• Capability to research, outline, and write a manuscript of 45,000 to 75,000 words.
• Skill in developing substantial biblical exposition with practical, hopeful, and transformative applications.
• Ability to ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitments.
• Proficiency in collaborating with an editorial team through multiple rounds of revisions.
• Proposals must be presented as a single PDF, not in Word or Google Doc formats.
• Proposals should include a suggested title and subtitle.
• Proposals must contain a one-sentence controlling idea that articulates the central theological message and the intended transformation of the reader.
• Proposals must summarize resources that inform the theological perspective, including relevant commentaries or theological works.
• Proposals should identify theological tensions, debated interpretive issues, and application challenges, addressing them in line with TDGC’s ecumenical approach.
• Proposals need to describe the target audience.
• Proposals must include 2 to 3 comparable Bible studies and clarify the distinctions between them.
• Proposals should feature an author biography outlining unique qualifications.
• Proposals must contain a complete Bible study outline with passages and one-sentence summaries of the main ideas for each study day.
• Except for year-long studies, each week should encompass five study days and two rest days.
• Proposals must include at least three complete sample study days, each featuring 750 to 1,000 words of Scripture commentary, two reflection/application questions, and one prayer prompt.
• Proposals should describe any supplemental front and back matter such as maps, charts, illustrations, or timelines.
• Proposals must indicate the current status of the manuscript, anticipated delivery date, and other pertinent timeline/specification details.
• Generative AI must not be utilized to create or refine sample study days.
• Proposals lacking required elements cannot be reviewed.
• Engage in collaboration with The Daily Grace Co.’s editorial team through several rounds of revisions.
