
Writer, Threat Intelligence – Communications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create and manage threat intelligence content, which includes advisories, threat briefs, comprehensive research reports, blogs, executive summaries, and social media content.
• Convert technical discoveries, indicators of compromise (IOCs), tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), vulnerabilities, and emerging attack trends into narratives suitable for both practitioners and board members.
• Monitor the threat landscape and propose timely articles related to ongoing campaigns, disclosures, and geopolitical developments.
• Design webinar programs, suggest themes and discussion points, and oversee post-production of programming.
• Compose bylines, blogs, and additional content that supports campaigns and marketing strategies.
• Aid in content distribution and coordination across various channels in collaboration with the broader marketing team.
• Manage a publication calendar and guide pieces through the review and fact-checking process.
• Uphold style guidelines to ensure a consistent brand voice.
• Over 3 years of experience in writing and producing content within cybersecurity, threat intelligence, another technical domain, or in cybersecurity journalism/PR/communications.
• A portfolio that showcases technical proficiency and clarity for both executive and practitioner audiences.
• Exceptional editing abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Capacity to oversee multiple projects while ensuring consistent quality.
• Familiarity with the threat landscape, or strong PR/communications instincts with the capability to quickly grasp technical subjects.
• Proficiency in collaborating with technical subject matter experts (SMEs), conducting interviews, asking follow-up questions, and self-editing with minimal supervision.
• Knowledgeable in PR and communications, including audience targeting, angle development, and distribution strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to produce engaging content and foster meaningful discussions.
• Experience writing for both technical and executive audiences.
• Comfort with rapid iterations, quick turnarounds, and adapting to changing priorities.
