Working Student – Innovation, Venture Clienting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Startup Scouting & Analysis for Venture Clienting: You will identify pertinent startups, technologies, and trends through various channels such as databases, events, networks, and competitive assessments.

• Market Analysis & Innovation Research: You will assist in analyzing pain points and automation opportunities in close collaboration with different business units within REHAU.

• Process Involvement in Venture Clienting: You will actively participate in the operational process from the initial scouting concept to the final use case.

• Identification of AI Enablement Requirements & Use Cases: You will analyze AI requirements from the REHAU Group's business units and aid in identifying and refining specific use cases.

• Evaluation of Technology: You will assess current AI technologies and tools to determine their relevance for REHAU, deciding whether to address needs with existing tools, custom prompting, or through external solutions such as startups.

• Facilitation of Knowledge Transfer & Enablement: You will help design and conduct training formats (workshops, training sessions, etc.) to enhance colleagues' AI skills, inspiring and empowering them to become AI ambassadors.

• Support for Cross-functional Workshops & Events: You will assist in the conceptual and organizational preparation, execution, and follow-up of workshops and meetings involving both internal stakeholders and external startups.

• Business Case Development & Project Support: You will create presentations, market analyses, and decision papers for both internal and external stakeholders, aiding in the translation of ideas into well-founded business cases.

• Management of Portfolio & Data: You will maintain and enhance our startup, use case, and project database, ensuring that all relevant information is kept current.

⛳️ Requirements

• You are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business, Business Informatics, Innovation, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.

• You possess practical experience in the startup ecosystem — whether through your own venture, internships, student roles, accelerators, or a venture capital/investment setting.

• AI is more than just a buzzword for you: You have been actively using tools like ChatGPT and others for at least two years, know how to apply them effectively, and continuously seek answers.

• You demonstrate analytical thinking and can convert requirements into actionable solutions.

• You are fluent in both German and English and communicate effectively, even when dealing with complex topics.

• You work in a structured and independent manner, quickly adapting to new contexts.
