Working Student – Data Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and implement Python and SQL data pipelines that collect, transform, and validate information from APIs, databases, and files.

• Create data models and transformations tailored for analytics and AI applications.

• Integrate data quality checks, automated testing, and monitoring to enhance the reliability of pipelines.

• Analyze pipeline failures and enhance logging and troubleshooting processes.

• Contribute to cloud data platforms and lakehouse initiatives.

• Document your work and engage collaboratively through Git, pull requests, and code reviews.

• Assume responsibility for real tasks from the very first day.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, data science, business informatics, mathematics, or a related field.

• Practical experience with Python, databases, and data pipeline development.

• A careful approach to debugging and eagerness to seek clarification when needed.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Familiarity with AWS, dbt, Airflow, Docker, Snowflake, Databricks, and Apache Iceberg is advantageous.
