This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Develop data and backend functionalities within our technology stack (TypeScript + Go, Postgres) β from concept to deployment on Cloud Run.
β’ Coordinate LLM agents (Claude Code / Codex) to enhance delivery speed β you will evaluate their performance, ensure they are operational, and take accountability for the results.
β’ Enhance product matching based on embeddings (pgvector + Gemini) and address edge cases effectively.
β’ Systematically collect competitive and market data and turn it into actionable insights.
β’ Construct knowledge pipelines: transforming data from various sources into structured, searchable formats, enabling autonomous data processing.
β’ Take ownership of a specific domain, work independently, and provide a brief daily report.
β’ Must be a resident in Germany and enrolled at a German university (working-student status) β freelancers or self-employed individuals are not eligible.
β’ Ideally a Masterβs student nearing graduation β only the thesis remains (while still enrolled) and capable of dedicating full attention.
β’ Hands-on experience with both TypeScript and Go (not just one of the languages).
β’ Proficient in Postgres/SQL, APIs, Git; additional knowledge in: pgvector/embeddings, web scraping, and LLM APIs is a plus.
β’ Productive experience with ChatGPT / Claude / Cursor / Codex.
β’ Excellent asynchronous communication skills β articulates clearly, documents decisions, and progresses work without the need for meetings.
β’ Strong command of either English or German.
β’ Fully remote work opportunity.
β’ Flexible working hours (approximately 20 hours per week; maximum 20 hours during the lecture term).
β’ Competitive compensation: β¬19β22/h gross, which is above the standard for working students.
