This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Assist in forecasting and staffing models by updating inputs, managing files, and validating trends.
• Create and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for workforce management (WFM) and staffing metrics.
• Aid in the automation of manual workflows within WFM, including reporting, trackers, alerts, and data extraction.
• Support recruiting and training initiatives by enhancing the hiring funnel, onboarding efficiency, and ramp performance.
• Contribute to intraday and weekly monitoring of workforce performance, focusing on volume versus staffing, SLA risks, and scheduling gaps.
• Document processes and develop repeatable reporting and automation playbooks.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and deliver insights to facilitate data-driven decision-making for both ad hoc and ongoing reports.
• Remain current with industry technologies and frameworks to identify trends, ensuring the adoption of best and cutting-edge practices in AI.
• Engage in special projects and initiatives as required.
• 1–2 years of experience in workforce analytics, WFM, operations, staffing analytics, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of foundational experience with AI and automation tools (e.g., responsibly using ChatGPT for drafting, summarizing, and workflow support; creating simple automations with scripts, macros, or no-code tools).
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets (including formulas, pivot tables, and data cleaning).
• Comfortable working with data and identifying patterns.
• Experience in building reports or dashboards (knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools is advantageous).
• A curious mindset focused on automation (“there must be a faster way”).
• Ability to extract valuable insights from complex datasets.
• A creative self-starter who can engage in first principles thinking.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to operate effectively in a highly cross-functional environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Previous experience in a B2B SaaS start-up is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare is a plus, along with familiarity with WFM concepts (forecasting, staffing, scheduling) and exposure to recruiting, onboarding, or training operations.
