This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct investigations into workers compensation claims
• Assess and evaluate workers compensation claims
• Negotiate and resolve workers compensation claims on behalf of clients
• Gather statements, issue lost wage benefits, complete state forms, deny claims, manage subrogation, and assist with litigation
• Liaise with CEOs, claimants, provider offices, and legal representatives
• Manage claims across various jurisdictions
• Operate both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Prior experience in workers compensation adjusting is essential
• At least 1 year of experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster
• Relevant licensing or state-specific experience
• Proven understanding of workers compensation laws and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Capability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software
• Experience in handling claims across multiple jurisdictions is crucial for success
