MD Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations and verify facts related to basic to advanced automobile accidents.

• Assess coverage, liability, and damages involved.

• Adjust and negotiate claims within the authorized limits.

• Collaborate with fraud and subrogation specialists to secure optimal results.

• Recognize customer needs and address them using suitable customer service techniques.

• Evaluate potential for subrogation or fraud and manage accordingly.

• Utilize an intermediate understanding of company policies and industry insurance practices.

• Examine all facets of auto claims, including coverage, damages, and subrogation.

• Exercise discretion and autonomy with an elevated level of authority.

• Manage claims from the initial review to final resolution.

• Offer customer support across various claim scenarios.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in handling auto liability claims.

• Experience in conducting investigations regarding coverage.

• Capability to take full ownership of claims from initial review through to resolution.

• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Technologically proficient and exceptionally organized.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Intermediate knowledge of insurance policies, the insurance sector, and organizational dynamics.

• Capacity to identify vehicle body parts and other possible property damage.

• Ability to investigate coverage, damages, and subrogation with discretion and independence.

• Active insurance license holders must cancel all current appointments before onboarding and are prohibited from holding outside appointments during employment.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must relinquish it when directed by the licensing team.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Dedicated, private workspace at home.
