This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee telephonic case management for workers’ compensation claims, which includes assessing, coordinating care, and providing ongoing oversight of cases.

• Work collaboratively with injured workers, healthcare professionals, employers, claims representatives, and legal partners to facilitate treatment plans and enhance recovery outcomes.

• Assess treatment plans and offer guidance grounded in clinical expertise and best practices in case management.

• Coordinate return-to-work strategies and track progress towards recovery objectives.

• Ensure consistent telephonic and written communication with all stakeholders throughout the claim's duration.

• Advocate for suitable and cost-effective care to promote positive health outcomes.

• Keep precise, timely, and compliant records of all case-related activities.

• Recognize obstacles to recovery and deploy strategies aimed at improving outcomes.

• Guarantee adherence to regulatory standards, company policies, and HIPAA regulations.

• Independently manage an assigned caseload, prioritizing tasks and adjusting plans as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of workers’ compensation processes.

• Familiarity with case management practices and return-to-work coordination.

• Capability to manage a substantial caseload in a structured, metrics-driven environment.

• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to handle complex and sensitive discussions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment utilizing multiple systems and displays.

• Proven ability to work autonomously while upholding productivity and quality standards.

• Strong organizational skills and the capability to handle competing priorities.

• A positive and adaptable attitude towards working effectively in a fast-paced atmosphere.

• Bilingual skills (Spanish speaking) are considered a significant advantage.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license is mandatory.

• One of the following certifications is required: CCM, CDMS, COHN, or CRRN.

• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related clinical discipline is essential.
