Workers Comp Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Acts as the main resource for workers compensation case management for Munson Healthcare employees.

• Responsible for managing work-related injury cases from initial report to return-to-work, collaborating with Occupational Health providers, managers, employees, and third-party administrators.

• Supervises case management activities, coordinates return-to-work efforts, and provides claim administration support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• A clinical degree in an Allied Health field or a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Risk Management, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in workers’ compensation, human resources, occupational/employee health, claims administration, vocational rehabilitation, insurance, or a related field.

• Preferred qualifications include Workers’ Compensation Professional (WCP), Certified Case Manager (CCM), Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), or a similar professional certification.
