Workday Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Create and present sophisticated Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, Trending) and dashboards to facilitate strategic decision-making.

• Construct intricate calculated fields and reporting logic leveraging extensive knowledge of Workday business objects and data sources.

• Manage and enhance global HR reporting governance, which encompasses report inventory, standards, certification, and access controls.

• Ensure that all reporting solutions comply with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., pay transparency, workforce reporting).

• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to convert business needs into scalable analytical solutions.

• Empower self-service reporting through standardized dashboards, discovery boards, and training initiatives.

• Maintain documentation that is ready for audits for all essential reports and reporting processes.

• Regularly evaluate and refine reporting solutions to minimize manual tasks and enhance data accessibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in Workday reporting.

• Advanced expertise in calculated fields, business objects, and Workday data architecture.

• Solid understanding of the Workday security model and data access controls.

• Demonstrated ability to design scalable reporting solutions that adhere to global HR data standards.

• Experience in supporting regulatory and compliance reporting (e.g., pay equity, workforce disclosures).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.

• Experience in working within global, matrixed organizations alongside cross-functional stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Workday Prism, Discovery Boards, or external BI tools (such as Power BI/Tableau) is an advantage.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in human resources, IT, or a related field.
