Workday Platform Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee user security groups, roles, domain security policies, and business process security controls for Workday HCM and Financial modules.

• Lead automation and integration efforts with the centralized identity and access management platform to enhance governance and provisioning.

• Conduct security audits and monitor for segregation of duties (SoD) conflicts.

• Ensure that confidential employee and financial information complies with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with HR, payroll, and business units to resolve permission-related issues.

• Implement enhancements to secure workflows.

• Collect requirements and showcase successful project delivery.

• Support IAM needs and actionable initiatives for Huntington's security teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 6 years in Information Security with a focus on Workday HCM, specifically in IAM and organizational privileges and policies.

• At least 6 years of experience in gathering requirements and demonstrating successful outcomes.

• Proficient in managing IAM within Workday.

• Experience in collecting requirements and defining actionable tasks for Huntington's security teams.

• Professional familiarity with SailPoint and other enterprise security tools.

• In-depth knowledge of SSO, MFA, Active Directory (AD), public key infrastructure (PKI), privileged accounts, and integration API capabilities.

• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM.
