Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python: REST APIs, data models, and asynchronous workers.

• Contribute to platform features that are integrated across multiple games.

• Ensure the observability of services — logging, metrics, and basic alerting.

• Be responsible for the releases to production.

• Collaborate directly with the SDK engineer to align on API contracts and integration requirements.

• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and delivery planning.

• Contribute to CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and operational practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in backend development with hands-on experience in production systems.

• Proficient in Python at a production level.

• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying REST APIs.

• Practical experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions such as DynamoDB or Redis.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, RDS/DynamoDB, S3, SQS, IAM, Redshift.

• Experience with Docker and a basic understanding and use of CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

• A habit of writing tests as an integral part of the development process.
