Workday Extend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with clients to grasp business needs and convert them into technical solutions.

• Design and develop applications using Workday Extend, adhering to established best practices.

• Act as a subject matter expert on Workday Extend.

• Remain updated on Workday's Extend roadmap and future product direction.

• Collaborate with both functional and technical teams to provide comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, bridging the divide between business requirements and technical design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of practical experience in Workday Extend development.

• Proficient in Workday SOAP and REST APIs.

• Knowledge of agentic AI concepts and experience in building or collaborating with AI agents.

• Skilled in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Custom Reporting.

• Strong understanding of the Workday Business Process framework and Security Model.

• Familiarity with Workday HCM and/or Workday FINs.

• Prior consulting experience with a proven record of client-facing engagement.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting directly with clients and stakeholders.

• Ability to listen to business needs and convert them into concise technical requirements.
